Parent & Tot Gymnastics
                                            *Girls & Boys*Ages 18 months - 3 yrs*

Be apart of your child's gymnastics experience.  The Parent & Tot Class is a 45 minute class designed for boys and girls between the ages of 18 months to 3 years old. Your child's coach will lead the class through fun warm-ups and gymnastics skill development.  Parents are actively involved in this class helping their child explore and learn new gymnastics skills in a safe and fun environment. The children will be introduced to the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, tumbling and trampoline in Horizon's own pre-school gym.

Our Parent and Tot classes use special equipment made for young children designed for their small hands and feet. The class will be led by an instructor through a fun warm-up and training in our preschool gym. The children will end their class by having a chance to practice on our inground tumble track, and jump into our giant foam pit!

           Tumblebugs Gymnastics
                                                  *Girls & Boys*Ages 3 - 5 yrs*

Tumblebugs introduces gymnastics to children ages three to five.  Our teachers have many years of experience and make learning the basic skills of gymnastics a challenging and rewarding experience. Tumblebugs will learn the begin learning the USAG Level 1 skills and routines on all four events - Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exerices.

The development of small and large motor skills, eye/hand coordination and "air" awareness is greatly accelerated in a child who participates in gymnastics. Plus, what little one can resist the thrill and fun of tumbling, swinging and bouncing on equipment made just for them!

Level One Gymnastics/T&T Combo
                             *Girls & Boys*Ages 6 & up*

Level 1 is the first building block on the road to your child's success in gymnastics.  Emphasis is placed on teaching students proper techniques and body positions on the four olympic events.  Gymnasts develop basic gymnastic elements on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.   Flexibility and strength are key components to gymnastics.  Classes emphasis flexibility, event development and strength traing.  Level One classes are one hour per week. Multiple classes per week are suggested to enhance the stundents rate of learning.   Because of the training they receive in gymnastics, participants in Horizon's Level 1 Junior and Teen Programs constantly excel outside of the gym, in their own schools, in both academic learning as well as physical tests, such as the Presidential Fitness Challenge.
